Instructions on how to manage single stations: how to update the firmware version of a single station can be found here, how to view single station configurations can be found here and how to use the station's remote commands here

If you want to edit multiple stations at once, first click on the "Stations" tab.
Select stations you want to reboot, update or change configurations. If needed, use filters or search function to find them faster.

Rebooting, stop charging or stop billing of multiple stations

After that, click control stations on right side module.

You can either reboot stations or stop charging or stop billing for all the selected stations. (Note: Stop charging and stop billing functionalities are coming soon.)

If you want to reboot stations, you will be asked if you want to reboot their hardware or software of and the window also tells you how many stations you are going to control. After choosing, the reboot starts.

Please notice a green or red toast that tells you if the actions were successful or not. Clicking the bar takes you to the side modal which tells you more detailed which stations caused issues. Screenshot 2024-10-16 at 9.17.55.png

Updating firmware for multiple stations

After clicking the stations, you want to update, choose "Update firmware".

The system checks that all stations have the same model and firmware version. You can only update them at the same time if they have the same model and firmware version. Also, stations need to be connected (not offline), so their connectivity needs to be shown as green, not with a grey icon.

Then add the firmware URL to the field and start the update.

Progress bars tell if updates went through successfully and where possible problems occurred.

Change configurations of multiple stations

Configuration changes for multiple stations start similarly with batch updates. First, choose the stations you want to make changes for. Note that the stations need to be the same model in order to edit their configurations simultaneously. Then, click edit stations on the right sidebar, and it opens the configuration menu (if you are editing a single station) or a dropdown menu where you can choose the configuration you want to change.

You can change multiple configurations by clicking the "add configuration change" button, which appears once you have added the first one. Remember to send changes when you are ready.

Similarly to other batch operations, progress bars tell you whether changes were successfully made or not. By clicking the arrow, you can see more detailed information about which changes were made and which were not successful.

Notifications and toasts

Note that background toasts inform you about the batch operations happening in the background. This means that you can continue your other work and let batch operations progress in the background. By clicking the toast, you can see the state of your updates.

Cancelling stuck batch operation

If the batch operation gets stuck and 10 hours have passed from the start of the batch operation, the "cancel waiting" button appears in the batch operations view. Before enough time is passed, the button is visible but greyed out. In addition to the button, the system also tries to cancel the stuck batch operation automatically.
