Hello and welcome
Editing Roaming
You can edit the organisation's roaming setting in the Organisation tab > Organisation information, and after that, select Advanced settings and scroll a bit down.
Roaming allows your drivers to charge their cars outside their charging service provider's network with the same customer account and makes your stations available to drivers from different networks. On this page, you can define how your organisation is connected to other networks.
Options are:
- Hubject (CPO and EMP), which enables station sharing over Hubject and allows your drivers to charge at stations from other networks.
- OCPI CPO
- OCPI EMP
- OCPI Gireve CPO
- OCPI Gireve EMP
Note: The Gireve OCPI toggle is greyed out in cases when the seller is not part of any Gireve contract.
You can also edit roaming identifiers in this tab.
More info about roaming
OCPI is another roaming protocol. The roaming contracts are done separately for EV driver owners (EMPs) and charging point providers (CPOs). With these settings, it is enabled that the organisation can be included in the OCPI contracts on those sides if they are part of an upper-level organisation and don't have their own brand or enables them to make their own contract if agreed so.
Gireve is a roaming hub like Hubject, but it uses OCPI as its roaming protocol. If this organisation or its upper-level organisation (with setting sub-sellers included) has a contract with Gireve, this toggle is possible to use and enables the EV drivers (EMP setting) or station (CPO setting) to be shared with Gireve.
Basic OCPI CPO/EMP is higher level than Gireve.
