1. How to Access Driver Account in the Virta Hub
To begin, please log in to the Virta Hub and navigate to the "Drivers" tab.
Note: Access to the Drivers tab can depend on your role and the modules enabled for your organization. Please ensure you have the necessary permissions to access this tab.
By clicking the Drivers tab, you will see two options:
- All Drivers: View basic information about each driver, including their name, account status, driver group, organization, and whether they have a charging tag.
- Driver Groups: Group drivers based on criteria relevant to your organization.
To access the driver's account information and manage or update it, select "All Drivers".
Clicking on a driver’s information will take you to the "View Driver" page, where you can explore four key areas: Basic Information, Charging Activity, Charging Tags, and Account Activity.
2. How to Update Driver Account in the Virta Hub
View drivers page provides all detailed information regarding the driver accounts:
1.Basic Information
The Basic Information tab provides essential details about the driver’s account:
- Account Status: Indicates whether the account is enabled, pending, locked, or disabled.
- EMP Name: The name of the EMP for which the driver account was created.
Additionally, you will have access to driver's:
- Email: Used for login and communication. If a driver is updating their email, both the old and new addresses may be shown.
- Phone: Available for customer support needs.
- Language: Determines the language for email communications.
- Address: Used for charging tag purchases.
- Registration Date and Charging Tags are also available here.
1.2 Billing Information
This section outlines the driver’s billing plan:

Plan: Specifies whether the account is prepaid, postpaid, or postpaid-by-card, impacting how charges are handled.
- Prepaid: the account must have a minimum amount of prepaid balance to be able to charge. In most cases, the payment card is automatically billed whenever the balance goes under a pre-defined minimum.
- Postpaid: the account's balance is always manually billed and reset
- Postpaid-by-card: the account's payment card is billed after each month's end for the total consumption of the month
- Balance: Available for prepaid accounts. If the balance is negative, the driver will not be authorised to start a charging session anymore.
- Invoice Status: Available for postpaid accounts, showing any unpaid invoices that might block charging sessions.
- Payment Card: Information about the payment method used.
1.3 Additional Details
- Company: Identifies B2B customers.
- External Customer Reference: Links accounts between third-party systems and the Hub.
- Additional Information: Custom fields for any extra details your organization may need.
- Driver Groups: Lists any groups the driver belongs to.
- Marketing Consent: Tracks whether the driver has accepted or rejected marketing communications.
2. Charging Activity
The charging activity tab lets you view all the charging sessions and history associated with the driver. You can quickly access the daily, weekly, and monthly charging behaviour of the EV driver or select a specific time.
3. Charging Tags
You can quickly access details about driver's charging tags here. You can also add or order new tags for the driver if needed.
4. Account Activity
The activity tab records all activities related to the driver's account, presented in chronological order from the registration date onwards.
