1. What is the pricing system upgrade

The updated pricing system provides you with greater control, accuracy, and transparency in your pricing setup. There are no changes to your current pricing configuration, just new, powerful capabilities to help your charging business grow.
You’ll set your CPO payout tariffs in Net (excluding VAT), and the system will automatically apply the corresponding VAT rate for your tariffs. This change ensures accurate, compliant, and transparent pricing throughout the entire process, from your internal setup to what is displayed to the driver.

 

2. Pricing System Upgrade on Virta Hub

We have added a few updates on Virta Hub that streamlines your operations even more than before. 

2.1. CPO Payouts Displayed in Net

Your CPO payout values are now displayed, excluding VAT, under the Pricing section of Tariffs & Loyalty plans in Virta Hub.

2.2. More Precision When Setting Pricing

You can now enter CPO payout tariffs with up to five decimal places, allowing for more precise pricing. Please hover over the “info icon” in the tariff editor to see the price breakdown in detail.

2.3. Consistent Driver Pricing

EV driver tariffs will display two decimals, ensuring consistency between your backend setup and what drivers see in apps.

VAT updates in your country are reflected in EV driver tariffs automatically

In case the VAT rate changes in your country, your tariffs are automatically adjusted to include the updated VAT rate. Thus, the EV Driver tariffs are updated automatically. No manual updates are needed.

2.4. AFIR-Compliant Tariff Display

Tariffs are shown in Virta Hub following the latest AFIR requirements regarding the order of price components:

  • Energy
  • Time
  • Session fee
  • Other fees

This ensures pricing appears consistently and transparently, not only for drivers but also in Virta Hub.

2.5. Time-Based Fees in Minutes for DC Charging

Time-based DC charging tariffs are now displayed per minute, rather than per hour, aligning with the latest industry standards and ensuring consistency with payment terminals and apps.
