Hello and welcome!
This article guides you on how to add and edit pricing for your organisation in Virta Hub. We will cover
- How to Set a Default Tariff
- How to Set an Alternate Tariff
- How to Edit an Alternate Tariff
Without further ado, let's begin!
Note:
All the tariffs in Virta Hub (for both Default pricing and Alternate tariffs) include your local VAT. The VAT breakdown is clearly shown when you receive the self-billing invoice settlement after each month.
Let's start!
1. How to Set a Default Tariff
Let's get started by logging in to the Virta Hub. To set prices for your organisation on Virta Hub, you will click on "Organisation" and then "Pricing".
Click "Edit Default tariff" on the right to update your tariffs.
If you don't see the option "Edit Default tariff," you either use a different pricing system or don't have the necessary rights. Please request access rights from the Administrator of your team.
You can easily update your tariffs for both AC and DC charging simultaneously.
You can then see the four different pricing elements.
These are:
- Per-hour, time-based fee
- Per kWh, energy consumption-based fee
- Session fee
- Grace fee, first minutes without a time-fee, which indicates the number of minutes the driver has before the per-hour price kicks in.
Note:
Please note that the Grace Fee is applicable only if the event begins within the specified time frame.
You can also set a separate pricing for your DC charging points. It has the same four pricing elements, which will be applied to all your DC charging points.
You can also choose to add a separate tariff for DC charging points, 100 kilowatts or over. Again, it has the same four pricing elements, but it will be only applied to charging points of 100 kilowatts or over.
Please remember that the tariff incented here is what your organization will receive from transactions. Drivers might see higher tariffs based on other fees.
Once you're ready, click on “Save changes” and confirm.
You can now see that your organisation's Default tariff has been set.
2. Alternate tariffs
To add an “Alternate tariff”, navigate to "Organisation" and then "Pricing".
Click on “Add Alternate tariff”.
You will first set a name for your tariff and enter the start and end time.
You will then choose the dates for when your Alternate tariff will be used. Then, click “Next” and set up your tariff. By default, the Default tariff is copied here.
When editing, you can see the difference in your Default tariff above the price. Once you have set the pricing for your Alternate tariff, click on “Next: Activate tariff”. Then toggle “Activate tariff”.
When the tariff is activated, it will come into effect immediately, but it will not impact any ongoing charging sessions. Once you're happy, save the changes and confirm. You now have your first Alternate tariff.
3. How to Edit an Alternate Tariff
To edit the Alternate tariff, click on the “Edit” button. You can then edit a tariff. For example, change the end time of the tariff or edit the dates or pricing.
Once you're happy, save the changes and confirm.
To deactivate your Alternate tariff, toggle the button off and confirm the deactivation. Only your Default tariff will be used now.
To reactivate it, click on the same button and confirm the activation.
To delete your Alternate tariff, click “Edit” and choose “Delete tariff”.
You will then confirm the deletion.
Once you have confirmed, the Alternate tariff will be deleted, and only the Default tariff will be used for your organisation.
Thats it!
Now, you know how to add and edit pricing for your organisation.
