This article walks you through understanding how you can archive, delete and restore charging points and pools. We will cover:
1. Archiving charging point(s)
2. Restoring charging point(s)
3. Archiving a pool
4. Restoring a pool
5. Filters
Let's start!
Archiving charging point(s)
First, click on the charging point or charging points you want to archive. Right hand sidebar gives you a list of available actions and you can there archive charging points, which hides them from the app and makes them inactive, so no one can charge there anymore and any information related to the charging point can not be changed anymore. In the UI, archived charging points are shown as "greyed out" and you can use filters to see or hide them from the station list. Note that permanent delete of charging points is not currently possible.
Restoring charging point(s)
If you want to make archived charging point active again for example to move it under a different pool or edit other information, you can restore it. Select archived charging points you want to restore and confirm action.
Archiving a pool
You can archive a pool by selecting it in station list page. You can only edit one pool at a time. Open edit pool view and select Archive pool in right hand side. Note that pool needs to contain only archived charging points or be empty to be archivable. If there are active charging points, please move them to some other pool first or archive them first.
Restoring a pool
To restore a pool, first select archived pool and then available actions appear to right hand side. Click restore pool and confirm.
Permanently deleting a pool
If you want to permanently delete a pool, you need to ensure there is no charging points in the pool. Also archived charging points are taken into account, so you need to first restore archived charging points and then move them to another pool, and if you wish, archive them in the end again. Once the pool is empty and you have selected it, you see options to archive and permanently delete it right hand side.
Filters
You can use filters station list view to define if you want to show or hide archived charging points and pools from the list.
Remember that you can use "Hide the pool" functionality that you can find in Edit pool -view, if you want to hide the pool and its charging point from app, but not make them out-of-service.
