If you own a business and wish to offer charging services to your customers, it might be that you would like to get revenue out of it (but you don't have to).
Tariffs can be set by choosing Pricing tab from Organisation tab. Currently tariffs apply to all stations in your organisation as they are set at organisation level. In case you want to have different tariffs for different stations, you can create a sub-organisation and move wanted pools there, and then apply different tariffs to sub-organisation. Note that all tariffs edited in this page are CPO tariffs. Currently the EMP price is just default added percentage share on top of the CPO tariff for EMPs. As a default, EMP price is CPO price / 0.8. Possibility to change the share and add discount percentages for specific EV driver groups is coming but currently it is not possible. From this point on, when talking about tariffs, CPO tariffs are referred.
There are two pricing systems that Virta Hub supposrts: Default pricing and V2 pricing system. If your organisation is using Default pricing (also known as Basic pricing), Pricing page looks like this and you can edit AC and DC tariffs by clicking edit icon in top right corner. More advanced options for price setting are available only once organisation is switched to V2 pricing system.
If your organisation is using v2 pricing, you can see your default prices in Pricing page. Prices can be set separately to AC, DC under 100 kW or DC over 100 kW. All categories can have prices set minute based, energy based and in addition you can have session fee which applies to all sessions regardless how much energy or time is used, and you can also set that first X minutes are free, and the minute based pricing applies only after that grace period. In v2 pricing, you as a CPO set the price you will get, and EV driver usually sees and pays higher price.
To update your tariffs, press Edit information in the actions menu on the right.
If the option does not seem to be available to you, it might be that you either are using a different pricing system or that you do not have the necessary rights. Please get in touch with person with Administrator, Charging manager, Driver manager or Financial support role of your team and have your permissions updated.
The page’s layout will change a bit as you start editing. You will be able to change in one go your tariffs for AC and DC charging. Keep in mind that these will apply to all charging points of the organisation you have selected – and only those charging points.
