If your cable is stuck at a AC charger, try these steps:
- Stopping the charging process, either through an app, RFID tag or a one-time payment website.
- Try disconnecting the cable from the car: some cars have a button for this, and some cars have a charging port that opens when the car door lock is released. If the door is unlocked when the car is opened, try to stop charging again after this.
- Try unplugging the cable from the drive, but be careful not to pull too hard to avoid damaging the cable.
Virta 24/7 Incident hotlines:
If you are charging at a fast charger (DC charger) and your cable gets stuck please call to the car manufacturer's roadside assistance service. DC chargers have fixed cable and thus if cable gets stuck, car manufacturer should be contacted.
